How Mere Christianity came about

As you read the intro material on why C. S. Lewis wrote the book, and that it's original format was as a radio series, I think it's striking to think of how similar the cultural setting is, in terms of disillusionment and doubt, skepticism and hostility towards Christianity.

What do you find interesting?
